Ms. Meifan Shi is the CEO and Founder of Alpha Phoenix, a global strategic advisory firm, and co-Managing Partner at Waterpoint Lane, a venture/growth equity firm.  She has an 18+ year career at the intersection of finance and technology, building multi-million dollar enterprises from idea inception to launch. Her expertise is in collaborating with CEOs and board members across the spectrum, from dynamic startups to Fortune 500 companies, specializing in Private Equity (PE)/Venture Capital (VC), Family Office, and Institutional Investor clientele throughout the investment lifecycle.

Ms. Shi’s hallmark is her data-driven prowess, orchestrating growth and value through scalable, programmatic business models at both fund and portfolio levels. As an accomplished investor, she masterfully wields her leadership acumen in business development, marketing, operations, and sales, igniting rapid global growth.

Notably, she co-founded the private equity business at Amazon Web Services (AWS), employing her data-driven approach to establish new service lines and strategic alliances with premier private equity firms.
